Welcome to the Gumnut Dance community!

We’re thrilled to have you with us. At Gumnut Dance, we’re committed to providing a joyful, creative, and supportive dance education for your child. With our non-competitive approach, nurturing environment, unique programs, and experienced teachers, every child has the chance to thrive and shine.

To ensure every family enjoys a positive experience, we ask all members of our community to follow the Code of Conduct below.

Code of Conduct for Parents and Carers

We kindly ask all parents and carers to:

Treat all teachers, staff, students, and other parents with respect and courtesy, both inside and outside the studio.
Trust in and support our teaching team and curriculum. This includes remaining in or leaving the studio when requested by a teacher.
Encourage your child to follow class expectations and behaviour guidelines set by their teacher.
Refrain from any form of bullying, harassment, or intimidation toward students, staff, or other parents.
Avoid posting photos, videos, or messages of a negative or derogatory nature about students, teachers, or visitors on any form of social media.

Code of Conduct for Students

We expect all students to:

Show respect and kindness to teachers, classmates, staff, and parents both in and out of class.
Treat others as they wish to be treated and avoid any form of bullying, exclusion, or intimidation.
Follow the dress code for their class, including correct dancewear, shoes, and neatly styled hair.
Be supportive, inclusive, and encouraging towards their fellow dancers at all times.

Treat all children, parents, and colleagues with respect and professionalism.
Serve as positive role models through both actions and words.
Adhere to all Gumnut Dance policies and uphold the values of our community.
