What Happens in a Preschool Dance Class?

2. Ballet and Jazz Basics: Your preschooler will learn foundational steps in both ballet and jazz, helping them develop balance, coordination, and rhythm in a fun and supportive environment.
3. Travelling Steps: We incorporate travelling steps to encourage movement across the floor, which helps improve spatial awareness and motor skills.
4. Themed Activities: Each term has an engaging theme that inspires creative activities. Whether it’s dancing like animals, pretending to be fairies, or exploring imaginary worlds, these activities help keep learning fun!
5. Props Galore: Our classes are filled with props like scarves, ribbons, and musical instruments to add an extra layer of excitement and sensory play.
6. End-of-Term Performance: At the end of each term, your child will have the opportunity to perform their class dance for parents. This performance occurs in class at the studio and is a joyful moment that celebrates their progress and gives them a sense of accomplishment.
